Web UI: Enhancements for Analytics Stories

• Filter and exclude members in a chart
• Synchronize axes in a dual-axis chart so that measures are shown on the same scale
• Show dimension totals in a chart
• Apply a custom sort order for dimensions in a chart
• Sort and rank variances in a chart

Web UI: Enhancements in Planner Workspaces

• Create and edit custom alert subscriptions directly in the Planner Workspaces app
• Customize the navigation menu to hide a tab that is not being used
• Copy and paste multiple attribute values into the filter fields in the Workspace
• Export planning view data to a spreadsheet

Excel UI: Changed Behavior for Canceling Simulations

With previous versions of the SAP Integrated Business Planning, the system finished the simulation regardless when canceling a long-running simulation.

With Excel add-in version 2308.2.0, when canceling a long-running simulation, the system resets the simulation to the previous step, if possible, or asks to refresh the planning view when users want to run a new simulation.

New App: Numerical Outliers in Master Data

Demand Planning: Enhancements to Outlier Correction

The smoothing outlier correction method is now available.

It's useful when the local mean or median of a time series section significantly differs from the global mean or median.

The new method can be set to detect level shifts in the time series and consider them when correcting the outliers.

Demand Planning: Prediction Intervals by Automated Exponential Smoothing

The automated exponential smoothing algorithm system can now calculate the minimum and maximum forecast values for each period in the future horizon.

The resulting prediction intervals can help, for example, in planning the demand when the sales history is very volatile. Intervals are calculated based on the confidence level users specify, and the results are saved in the key figures of their choice for the lower and upper boundaries.

 Identity and Access Management: Enhancement to Maintain Business Roles App

Administrators can now use the Mass Change Wizard function to maintain restrictions for multiple business roles at once in the Maintain Business Roles App.

Inventory Optimization: Rolling Time Periods in the Inventory Analysis App

For more dynamic scenario planning, users can now set an analysis to use rolling time periods in the Inventory Analysis App.

Order-based Planning: Confirmation Data from the ERP

When sales orders are included in a planning run and confirmed by SAP IBP, the information for which date and time they were confirmed in the ERP and the quantity confirmed there is now retained. This way, users can see whether sales orders have been confirmed differently in SAP IBP than in the ERP.

Order-based Planning; Enhancements to Transportation Load Building via Planner Workspace App

• Change the quantity of a planned distribution order
• Move load items between transportation loads
• Change the equipment type of a transportation load
• Switch between tabs to see the details of a transportation load
